Having put my step into radio, I would have stepped out of it, if it were not for your ever readiness to pull anybody to the centre of radio knowledge. I fondly remember the long late night rag chewing on any subject that some of us had on the VU2BCM repeater; and for that matter we are all thankful to VU2PJP our grand master Peter for having facilitated us freely- the repeater. I am still using 59++ your skylark 5/8th giving me long contacts. Your 7 element beam beams into future. I was able to see innumerable equipments and invaluable morse keys from your shack and the various gadgets and homebrews which kept on my otherwise dying deep interest in radio. Your constant encouragement braved my xyl VU2UJF to take up the BCM net as its controller. Thanks a million old man.
